Kayla and Chengue are the proud parents of 9 healthy Chesapeake Bay retriever puppies; 7 boys and 2 girls. These puppies were born August 29, 2010 and will be ready to go approximately October 31, 2010. We expect exceptional temperaments that will make great hunting, obedience, tracking, or show companions. About Kayla

Kayla is a beautiful dark brown chessie with a sweet disposition. She weighs about 70 lbs and stands approximately 24 1/2" tall. Kayla is very friendly, outgoing, and aims to please. Kayla comes from excellent champion and hunting lines. See pedigree below.

Kayla's hips are good; eyes are certified normal (no cataracts); PRA - DNA type A by parentage default; DM is pending; and thyroid is pending..

About Chengue

After living in South America for nearly 3 years with a good friend of mine, Franklin Zaydman, Chengue came back to us February 2008. He finished his AKC Champion very quickly (in 9 shows). He is a handsome boy with a nice blocky head who weighs 85 lbs, stands 25 1/2" tall, and is very stout. He has an excellent disposition; he is a good marker; he runs fast and determined when working in the field; and he is well behaved with children and people. He has a harsh outer coat, thick undercoat, and stunning conformation. Chengue is currently in training for hunting working toward his hunting titles.

He is a proven producer for quality puppies with nice blocky heads, superb coats, great hunting instincts, and exceptional temperaments.

Chengue's hips, elbows, and eyes are certified; his PRA is DNA type A by parentage default; his thyroid tested normal; DM is pending.
